CCL FELLOWSHIP + CCL/MELLON FOUNDATION SEMINAR
Center for Curatorial Leadership
Founded in 2007 by Agnes Gund and Elizabeth Easton, The Center for Curatorial Leadership trains curators to assume leadership positions in museums in the rapidly evolving cultural climate of the 21st century. CCL’s core Fellowship program provides experienced curators with a five month fellowship that includes instruction from Columbia Business School faculty, conversations with leading museum directors, funders, civic officials and cultural leaders, and a mentorship with a museum director. The CCL/Mellon Foundation Seminar, a two-week intensive held each summer, introduces art history doctoral candidates to the daily practice and strategic questions of museum practice.
